In that era, fine porcelain was decorated with gold precisely to increase the value of the pieces and place them in the luxury category. The porcelain is as fine as silk, butter-colored, with wide orange borders. The colors are delimited by gold lines, with the inside of the cup's base painted with a star element. The shape of the cup is bell-like, wide, with a base on four ornate feet marked with gold lines. The handle of the cup is distinctive, angular, and gilded on the upper part.

✅ Brief history of the porcelain manufacturer, Tuppack Tiefenfurt, Silesia
The factory was founded in 1865 by Carl Rädisch in the Silesian town of Tiefenfurt. Three years later, it was already producing porcelain.
In 1883, the business was taken over by Kuno Steinamann. In 1929, the company transitioned from fine porcelain to oven-safe ceramics.
* The Steinmann family was partly Jewish. According to some sources, the Steinmann family was forced by the Nazis to close their business in 1938. According to other sources, the Steinmann family sold the business in 1932, following the American stock market crash.
Whatever the truth about the fate of the business, their product remains – this exceptionally beautiful and rare, collectible tea set.
